science village part of skåne innovation week
Skåne Innovation Week is a week of activities, innovations and ideas in the creation of the world’s most innovative region and how we are all a part of it. 2016 events will take place between 30th May and 3rd June. Science Village Scandinavia AB with other partners is involved in the innovation week and will open Möllegården to the public on Wednesday, June 1st from 5pm until 7pm.
Möllegården is the newly renovated farm at Science Village between ESS and MAX IV. The farm building now houses an exhibition. Here you can learn how MAX IV and ESS work, and how they can be useful. You can also learn how Brunnshög and Science Village will be developed. There is also a description of Uppåkra and its connection to the people who lived at the Science Village area thousands of years ago.
Close to Möllegården we have – in cooperation with Kraftringen – placed a “Giraffe 2.0” a combined wind and solar power plants from Innoventum. At the Open House in Möllegården June 1st from 5pm to 7pm, representatives from Kraftringen and Innoventum will be on hand to inform about the “Giraffe”.
For sustainable travel we recommended visitors to take bus No. 20 from Lund C to Lund ESS, the farm and the giraffe are really close to the bus terminal. The bus runs every ten minutes, the last one leaving at 7.21pm back to Lund C. There is good accessibility by bicycle to the area. The number of car parking spaces is limited.
